Search for "Jakarta Bandung freight" and almost everything you find covers one direction: how to send goods from Jakarta to Bandung.
The traffic runs both ways, though. Textile mills in Majalaya send fabric to Jakarta garment workshops. Food producers in Cimahi supply distributors across Greater Jakarta. Component suppliers in East Bandung feed assembly plants in Bekasi.
We hear the same complaint from shippers on the Bandung side. Carriers treat this direction as a backhaul: the schedule comes second, the vehicle is whatever is left over, and nothing is certain until the truck actually shows up.
Our Jakarta ⇄ Bandung line-haul departs both ways, every day. Departures from Bandung run on a fixed schedule with vehicles already allocated to them, rather than waiting for enough return freight to accumulate.

Padalarang and Ngamprah sit closest to the toll gates. We also cover Cihampelas and Batujajar.
Cimahi
South, Central, and North Cimahi, including the industrial area along Jl. Industri.

Which Way the Truck Goes
Main route: Purbaleunyi, then Cipularang
The standard path, and the one whose timing you can actually plan around.
Out of Bandung onto the Purbaleunyi toll road as far as Padalarang, then Cipularang through Purwakarta to Cikampek, then the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road. Roughly 150 km. Under normal conditions, 2.5 to 3.5 hours.
The Cisumdawu alternative
For pickups on the eastern side of Greater Bandung, places like Rancaekek, Cicalengka, or Cileunyi, Cisumdawu often saves time because it avoids the detour through Padalarang. Drivers pick the route based on the collection point and traffic at the time of departure.
Where the delays usually happen
The Cikamuning descent toward Purwakarta backs up on weekends and long holidays. The Cikampek toll road heading into Jakarta is worst on weekday mornings. Pasteur and Padalarang toll gates queue badly every Friday afternoon and Sunday evening.
For shipments with tight arrival windows, a night departure out of Bandung tends to be the most consistent.

About Shipments to Tangerang, Serpong, BSD, and Bekasi
This is where the misunderstandings usually start, so here it is plainly.
We don't run direct trucks from Bandung to Bekasi, or Bandung to BSD. What runs is the Bandung to Jakarta line-haul. Anything bound for Bekasi, Tangerang, Serpong, or BSD travels on that line-haul to our Jakarta depot and then goes out to the destination address from the Jakarta side.
Three things follow from that.
Your goods are still collected at your warehouse and delivered to the recipient's address. The depot handover in Jakarta is our problem, not yours.
Destinations outside Jakarta generally need another half to one business day compared with addresses inside the city.
There's an onward-delivery component priced separately from the line-haul, so the rate won't match a shipment that stops in Jakarta.
For regular shippers this works in your favour. The line-haul departs daily no matter where individual consignments end up, so your schedule never waits on enough freight accumulating for one particular city.
What to Have Ready Before the Truck Arrives
- A complete recipient address, including the contact person's name and a number that will be reachable at delivery
- A packing list with the number of packages, estimated weight, and largest dimensions
- Delivery notes in duplicate, one for your records and one travelling with the driver
- The unloading situation at the destination: forklift or no forklift, the receiving warehouse's operating hours, and any vehicle size restrictions
That last one gets missed constantly. Plenty of receiving warehouses in Jakarta restrict unloading hours or bar larger trucks at certain times, and it usually surfaces once the truck is already sitting at the gate.
